N40 Allen & Ginter Game Birds Lot of (24) Cards

The N40 Allen & Ginter Game Birds set is the large format counterpart of the N13 Allen & Ginter small set of the same name. The cards, like the other large format cards, were all issued in the Richmond Straight Cut larger packages of cigarettes and are both more condition conscious and much tougher to find. The sets picture the artwork from the smaller format cards against an ornately chromolithographed background.

All (24) of the cards in this lot of N40 Allen & Ginter Game Birds have back issues--predominantly glue stains at the top and bottom of the back borders. There are also a couple cards with paper loss as well. The fronts are clean, however, and present well.
