Not a lot is known about the Allen & Ginter Beauties in Gloves Set but what is available out there appears to have been cut from an advertising poster. The cards picture gloves of a number of different colors with an inset picture of an actress in the palm. The cards are numbered on the front in the lower part of the hand in the wrist area with "No. 1" and so on through No. 25. The cards have no advertising on the front and are blank-backed. It is believed that they were intended to have been issued by A&G but never went to press for some reason. They are relatively scarce but are found from time to time.
This lot of (3) "Glove" cards from Allen & Ginter are in Good to VG condition with clean backs. The cards are, as usual, hand cut and picture Victorian gloves with inset actress pictures. Great lot of these very difficult cards.
