R27 Cartoon Comics Near Complete Set (42/48) Cards

The R27 Cartoon Comics set is a (48) card set from the mid-1930's picturing popular comic strip characters of the day. The set is broken down into (6) different subsets--one each for each cartoon that is represented. Each subset of cards totals (8) and the following is the breakdown of the subsets: 101-108 = Dick Tracy, 109-116 = Orphan Annie, 117-124 = Harold Teen, 125-132 = Moon Mullins, 133-140 = Joe Palooka and 141-148 = Terry and the Pirates. Cards from this set, as are all strip cards, are condition sensitive.

This near set of (42/48) cards from the R27 Cartoon Comics set break down condition-wise as follows: VG to VGEX (27 cards) and Good to lesser (15 cards). The lesser cards have primary condition issues of glue on the backs of the cards and are in otherwise nice condition. With a few upgrades and adds, this could be a very nice mid-grade set of strip cards. Two cards were previously graded by SGC and include: #104 Dick Tracy SGC45 VG+ and #106 Dick Tracy SGC45 VG+. The flips are included in the set.
