R28 Cartoon Adventures Near Complete Set (42/48) Cards

The R28 Cartoon Series is a (48) card set with (4) different subjects--Tailspin Tommy (#401-408), Tarzan of the Apes (#409-416), Broncho Bill (#417-424) and Buck Rogers (#425-448). All (4) were popular comics of the 1930's but the fascination with Buck Rogers and his adventures garnered 1/2 of the set and mirrored the fascination of the children of the day with Buck Rogers' exploits.

This near complete set of (42/48) cards are largely in GVG to VGEX condition with most cards being VG to VG+. The six missing cards include Tarzan #409, #411 and #414 and Buck Rogers #439, #441 and #442. Thirteen cards in the near set were previously graded by SGC. The flips are included in the near set.
