The V49 Lowney's Chocolate Just Kids set is a 24 card set that measures 3-7/8" wide by 1-1/2" high and pictures the comics Just Kids in a small scene with a coupon on the front of the card. The back of the card has an advertisement for a coupon redemption. Send all coupons in 1-24 and the customer could get a combination pen and pencil. The Walter M. Lowney Company of Montreal created a number of Canadian "V" chocolate sets during the 1920's and 1930's.
This lot is for a group of (6) V49 Lowney's Chocolate "Just Kids" cards. Five of the 6 cards have had the coupons removed and the sixth still has an attached coupon. The cards are in EX condition otherwise and very clean.
