Love them or hate them, the 1959 Colinville (UK) Space Fantasy set is a kitchy set of (28) cards issued by Colinville picturing concept space aliens. The card fronts employ simple artwork that is colorful and imaginative. The backs of the cards give a name to the alien on the front with a small narrative about him/her and the checklist number. The bottom of the back also notes the series and the fact they cards are 'presented by Colinville'.
This lot of (18) cards from the 1959 Colinville (UK) Space Fantasy Series I set are at first glance in VGEX to EX but each card has light glue spots on the corners of the back. The cards are, however, very scarce and popular among space collectors all over the globe.
