Interesting set of trade cards picturing misfortunes picturing fishing and hunting scenes. All the scenes picture some type of misfortune and have light brown and blue muted printing with black line drawn images.

This lot of (8) cards advertise for Thoits Brothers "Half Shell" product--either cigarettes or cigars likely. Five of the eight cards advertise also on the back for J.P. Larock--a wholesale dealer in Confectionery, Cigars and other products in Wiscasset, Maine. The cards are mostly in Fair to EX condition with the (5) cards with back advertising also having some paper adhered to the back corners. The blank backed group of (3) cards are all in EX condition.
