Interesting "Your Wife and Family to Be" Mutoscope Complete Set of (16) Cards

Mutoscope and Exhibit fought for the pennies and nickels of America's children from the 1920's until the 1960's. Each company were prolific issuers of small to medium size sets of cards--typically in groups of 16 cards--16,32,48,64 or more. Mutoscope is probably most well known for the handful of beautiful women sets that they issued in the mid part of the 20th century. Picturing scantily clad women, the card sets were wildly popular and still are to this day with collectors. Many of the other sets were single color sets with or without postcard backs. This set is one of those type sets with the subject of "Your Wife and Family to Be" and was printed in a blue toned ink along with a postcard back. The cards pictured a single picture of a woman to the left of the card along with a number of pictures of kids from one to 3-4 kids and a narrative of how many kids you would have and what your wife's profession would be.

This set of (16) cards are in VG to EX condition, averaging about VGEX with clean postcard backs. Great little, complete set of Mutoscope cards.
