The R28 Cartoon Series is a (48) card set with (4) different subjects--Tailspin Tommy (#401-408), Tarzan of the Apes (#409-416), Broncho Bill (#417-424) and Buck Rogers (#425-448). All (4) were popular comics of the 1930's but the fascination with Buck Rogers and his adventures garnered 1/2 of the set and mirrored the fascination of the children of the day with Buck Rogers' exploits.
This trio of R28 Cartoon Adventures have all been graded by SGC and include the following subjects: #425 SGC20 Fair 1.5, #436 SGC40 VG 3 and #442 SGC45 VG+ 3.5. Great, clean lot of these popular cards graded by SGC.
