The N228 Kinney Novelties is one of the more interesting groups of cards issued during the "N" timeframe of the late 1880's through early 1890's. There are 6 different groupings of cards within the N228 series. The N228-1 Novelties are round, thick cards picturing beautiful ladies of the day. The cards are all head shots and can have backs colored in a number of different colors.
This lot of (2) N228-2 Kinney Brothers Novelties Round Women's Portraits (Thin variety) is from a set of (50) cards. The cards are very highly graded at SGC86 NM+ and SGC88 NM-MT.
