The T53 Hassan Cigarettes Cowboys set is a great set picturing scenes of the Wild Western U.S. and the cowboys who were famous for inhabiting it. The artworks very nice on these with clean, bright coloring. A rope border outlines the borders of the card. It is believed that a 50th card--available in a couple other versions of the series--titled "An Exciting Game" was pulled from production of the cigarette issue due to the nature of the cowboy using a gun during a card game. While there is no conclusive evidence of this, it is about the only possible explanation given the inclusion of the card subject in the other similar sets of these cards.
This T53 Hassan Cowboy's card pictures the subject "Darning his Socks" and has been graded by PSA as EX-MT or PSA6. The card is super clean with strong corners and clean surface front and back. The only noticeable flaw with this card is the centering.
