The BF101 Felt blankets feature Aviators and airplanes. It's likely that the set was issued sometime around the late 1910's to 1920's. Non-sport.com checklists (24) different blankets and the different designs can be found in a number of different color felts--offering the variation collector a fertile ground to collect this set. The felts measure 3" wide by 6" high and have blank backs. The fronts have some type of paint applied which dries into the design on the front of the blankets.
The felts measure 3" by 6" in size and the three in this lot are in particularly good condition with clean backs. They include Delagrange Biplane (pinhole and teal felt), Ponnier Monoplane (pink felt) and Voison Biplane (light green felt). Great lot of these interesting collectibles.
