The J. Milhoff tobacco company issued a set of (25) cards in 1924 to form a set called Men of Genius. The set celebrates men who have changed the world through their writings, experiments and escapades. Luminaries in the set include Edison, Shakespeare, Beethoven, Lincoln, Hugo, Darwin, Wright, Einstein, Tolstoy, Poe and others. The set is very popular with collectors.
This lot is for a single J. Millhoff Men of Genius card of #22 Rudyard Kipling that has been graded PSA4 VG-EX.
