This lot is for a single card from C.R. Somerville Gum of Canada for the Wild Animals set they issued around 1900 in Canada. The set images mirror those of the N25 Allen & Ginter Wild Animals and the D8 Weber Baking Wild Animals sets but the Somerville offering is significantly more rare. This card is for the subject "Rocky Mountain Sheep" that has been graded by PSA as Good-2. The card is clean front and back and suffers primarily from rounded corners. This is the first card from this set we have offered and the first that we have seen. The set was issued with the oddly named Somerville "Lobster" gum and the back of the card has the rules for playing the Lobster game.
