The R28 Cartoon Series is a (48) card set with (4) different subjects--Tailspin Tommy (#401-408), Tarzan of the Apes (#409-416), Broncho Bill (#417-424) and Buck Rogers (#425-448). All (4) were popular comics of the 1930's but the fascination with Buck Rogers and his adventures garnered 1/2 of the set and mirrored the fascination of the children of the day with Buck Rogers' exploits.
This lot of (4) R28 Carton Adventures cards are all from the Buck Rogers subset and are in VG to VGEX condition with the following numbers: 425(vgex), 439(vgex), 445(vg) and 448(vg). Nice lot for the set builder.
