In 1953, Rice Chex cereal inserted Space Patrol cards into boxes of their cereal. The set totals (40) cards. The artwork was interesting and reminiscent of the Jets, Rockets and Spaceman issue from Bowman. Space was all the rage in the early 1950's and manufacturers sought to capitalize on the interest of young children as the space race began.
This lot of (15) F280-3 Ralston Purina Space Patrol cards are in VG to EX condition and mostly clean. The cards are very popular with space collectors and have artwork akin to the Bowman Jets, Rockets, Spacemen set.
