The N554 Finzer Inventors set of ten cards was issued by Finzer tobacco of Louisville, KY, likely in the late 1880's to early 1890's to advertise their Wild Rose brand. The set pictures 10 inventors whose inventions changed the world including Fulton, Gutenberg and others.
This lot of (4) N554 Finzer Tobacco Inventors & Inventions includes the following subjects: Lionel Lukin, John Errickson, Bernard Palissy and Jethro Wood. The cards are generally VG to VGEX condition with the exception of Errickson which has paper loss on the back.
