The Kinney tobacco actress cards of classifications N210-N214 were used for many different issues by many different companies--sometime in different formats. They can be issued with or without framelines, numbered or unnumbered or have the names in the body of the photo or in the borders. The actresses pictured in the photos were the most famous ones of the day like Lilly Langtry, Pauline Hall, Emma Eames and the ubiquitous Lillian Russell. There are some of the sets that are prohibitively tough to complete and some that are tough to even find a type card.
This lot is for a complete set of the N213 Kinney Tobacco Actresses set in an even, appealing EX to EXMT condition, some even bordering on NRMT. It is rare to find these Kinney sets in such clean condition. This set is the one with the actress name in the brown border at the bottom front of the card.
