The T63 Le Roy Little Cigars set of (25) generals depicts generals and involved parties of the Spanish-American War which was fought from April to August of 1898. The war began with the sinking of the USS Maine in Havana Harbor. The colorful fronts of the cards picture an inset circular sepia portrait of the subject with a scene of some involvement that they had in the war. The Le Roy little cigars advertising is in the lower right of the front of the card. The backs of the cards are clean and blank.
This pair of T63 L. Miller & Sons Generals include the subjects of President W. McKinley and John D Long--the Secretary of the Navy. The cards are in VG to VGEX condition with clean fronts and backs.
