The R144 Wolverine Gum Strange True Stories is a difficult set from the 1930's. The set's subjects are akin to the Ripley's Believe it or Not type of stories and contain some interesting subjects. The most popular card in the set is that of the "Bat-Man" which predates the actual Batman comics by a couple years and is very popular for nonsports and comic collectors alike.
This card is the #20 Hari Kiri! that has been graded by PSA as PSA1 Poor. The card has creasing in the lower right corner and corner wear but is a presentable copy of the card for the grade achieved.
