Fantastic redemption album for the F277 Heinz Modern Aviation series from the late 1930's. Heinz Rice Flake and Heinz Breakfast Wheat cereals had a long-running promotion in the late 1930's, issuing three different sets of cards as well as oversized premiums of eight of those cards. For the small cards, as a redemption, they offered this album, housing spaces for the airplanes. There are two different versions to this album--one with a blue banner which was issued to go along with the F277-1 version of Modern Aviation cards. The second version has a pink banner and was made to be a companion to the F277-2 "Art Deco" look cards.
This lot is for a pair of the F277-1 and F277-2 albums--one of each. The F277-1 album is in clean EX to EXMT condition and very clean. The F277-2 album is in GVG to VG condition with wear to the borders and some soiling to the back cover. Great pair of these albums with the F277-2 album being significantly rarer than the F277-1.
