Auction #8 - June 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/28/2021
The N502 classification is for the "Occupations for Women" set. The set can be found issued with advertising for both Frishmuth and for Cameron & Cameron and mirrors the cards from the N166 Goodwin and American Eagle "Occupations for Women" sets but with a smaller set count. The N502 classification sets have (24) subjects while the N166 classifcation sets have (50) subjects. The cards have titles for the pictured occupation on the front and on the back there are ads for either Frishmuth or for Cameron & Cameron. The Frishmuth backs contain a complete checklist of all (24) cards and the Cameron and Cameron types contain only advertising on the blue-printed backs.
This lot is for a trio of N502 "Occupations for Women" subjects including a pair of Frishmuth's to include the subjects Captain and Ulan. The Captain card is a pleasing VGEX to weak EX with the Ulan card having sever creasing and in Fair condition. The final card advertises for Cameron & Cameron and pictures the subject Drummer and has a crease through the card vertically and corner wear and surface wear on the front and back. Additionally, the back has what appears to be the date "2/3/1893" written in a red fountain pen type ink.
