The N70 Duke's Tobacco Actors & Actresses set of (50) cards pictures famous Actors and Actresses in costume from one of their memorable roles. The set is one of two actor and actress small format sets that Duke Tobacco issued in the late 1880's to early 1890's. Both sets picture many famous people of the day including Mary Anderson, Sandra Bernhardt, Edwin Booth, Joe Jefferson, Lilly Langtry and Lillian Russell.
This lot is for a single N70 of the subject Henry Irving. The card is raw and in EXMT to NRMT condition and very nice front and back.
