The N174 Goodwin Old Judges Celebrities & Miscellaneous lot includes a number of actress cards as well as cards for other celebrities. The cards are albumen photo cards adhered to heavy cardboard--similar to the N172 Old Judge baseball series that is immensely popular. The cards can be found with varying degrees of photo clarity and in varying conditions. The backs are blank and the fronts contain varying types of advertising for Old Judge--mostly at the bottom of the card.
This lot is for a single N174 Goodwin Old Judge picturing the Honorable Dr. Cockburn who was the Premier of South Australia from 27 June 1889 through 19 August 1890. Cockburn was born in 1850 and passed in 1929.
