In 1953, Rice Chex cereal inserted Space Patrol cards into boxes of their cereal. The set totals (40) cards. The artwork was interesting and reminiscent of the Jets, Rockets and Spaceman issue from Bowman. Space was all the rage in the early 1950's and manufacturers sought to capitalize on the interest of young children as the space race began.
This lot of (9) cards from the F280-3 Ralston Purina Rice Chex Cereal Space set range from Good to EX with most cards being around VG/VGEX. Great lot of these cards for the set builder.
