The F277-3 Heinz Rice Flakes premiums were send away premiums picturing four different subjects from the F277-1 Heinz Modern Aviation set. The four subjects were #1 Roscoe Turner's Original "57" Racer, #2 Boeing 247 Transport, #16 Vaught Corsair and #25 Consolidated (Navy Patrol). The oversized premiums measure 9" wide by 13-1/4" High and are ideal for framing.
This complete set of (4) F277-3 Heinz Rice Flakes Famous Airplanes Premiums include the following subjects: #1 Roscoe Turner's Original "57" Racer (Fair condition with a pinhole top center and other condition issues including foxing in the field of the picture), #2 Boeing 247 Transport (Generally VG condition with some chipping on the right border and crease in the lower left corner), #16 Vought Corsair (Generally VGEX condition with some discoloration in the lower border as well as a small tear in the upper right) and #25 Consolidated (Navy Patrol) (Generally VGEX with some chipping on the right border). Individual cards from this premium set are rarely seen, so complete sets are seemingly quite scarce.
