The T70 Hoffman House Historical Events Series set is a (24) card set picturing different important historical events and places. The set pictures the Monitor/Merrimac fight, events from the various wars of the U.S. as well as important locations like the Statue of Liberty and others.

This single T70 Hoffman House Historical Series TOUGH Signing of Declaration of Independence has been graded SGC2 Good. This is just the second one of these cards we have offered, the other being in 2020 when it sold for the price of $372.36. Since that time, and with the advent of the Presidential Craze and the emphasis on historical cards, this card has grown in importance to possibly one of the 25 most popular Nonsports cards in the "N" and "T" realm. Maybe in all of Nonsports.

The "Triple Folder" card was employed in the 1890's with the N126 and N133 Duke sets but then forgotten until the 1910's when the T70 set was issued. About the same time, in 1912, Hassan issued the Baseball Triple Folders--a (132) card set featuring the stars of baseball.

This remains the only Triple Folder of the Nonsports "T" sets and continues to be on the wantlists of so many collectors. Although this card is technically graded a 2, there doesn't appear to be many condition issues with this card other than stress on the folds which is completely normal for the issue. The card is centered almost as good as it could be with very nice corners. The back is clean with just a little wet sheet transfer blue ink on the right half of the card which is also complete normal for the issue. It would not look out of place for this card to have been put in a "4" holder but given the current enviornment, this newly graded card, as the saying goes, is what it is.
