The R40 Defending America set is one of a number of 1930's and 1940's strip card sets typically issued in (8) card strips and given with what was believed to be candy purchases at the dime stores of the day. Defending America cards number 201-248 and picture great graphics of boats, planes, torpedoes, and other scenes and weapons of the war effort.
This set of (48) cards is in very consistent condition raging from VG to EXMT with the majority falling in the VGEX+ to EX- range. Very nice set.
