The N36 Allen & Ginter Indians set is truly a work of art. The set uses the artwork from the small N2 Allen & Ginter set and adds some appropriate artwork to the sides. The colors are bold and vivid and picture Native American leaders on the fifty card set from all over the United States. The card is in beautiful mid-grade condition with a very clean look. Would be a great addition to any collection. At one time, mid-grade copies of these cards were selling for upwards of $500 each.
This complete set of (50) Cards has the following (4) graded cards: John Grass SGC50 VGEX4, Red Thunder SGC40 VG3, Striker SGC10 PR1 and White Swan SGC10 PR1.
The remaining (46) ungraded cards fall into the following categories: VG-VGEX (15 cards or 33%) including: Chief Gall, Chief Joseph, Clam Fish, Grey Eagle, Hairy Bear, Keokuk's Son, King of the Crows, Man and Chief, Rushing Bear, Geronimo, Agate Arrow Point, Young Whirlwind, War Captain, Bull Head and British Ioway. G to VG (11 cards or 24%) including: Noon Day, Wetcunie, Deer Ham, Big Razor, Black Hawk (Dakota Sioux), Big Snake, Keokuk, Mad Bear, Always Riding, Big Bear and Big Chief. F to P (20 cards or 43%) including: Great Bear, Lean Wolf, Red Cloud, Sitting Bull, Young Black Dog, White Shield, Spotted Tail, True Eagle (MK-F), Red Shirt, Great War Chief, Cayatanita, Crow's Breast, Black Eye, Black Hawk (Sac & Fox), Big Elk, Many Horns, Red Bird, Johnyellow Flower, Iron Bull and Arkikita.
It should be noted that, although 40% or so of this set is lower grade, they all present extremely well for the grade. The vast majority of the set have clean fronts and strong, vibrant colors. The majority of the condition issues pushing cards down into lower condition categories are typically back issues. Of the cards with back issues, only 2-3 cards have greater than 10% back damage.
