The N127 Duke Sea Captains set is a 25 card set picturing sea-faring Captains and the name of their ship. The set advertises for Duke's Honest Long Cut brand on the back and outlines the checklist for the set in alphabetical order within the ship's line. The set has some of the best artwork of the larger format Duke cards and is a very popular set to collect. This mid-grade set presents pretty evenly with the exception of 2-3 subjects that have back damage.

This lot of (6) N127 Duke Tobacco Honest Long Cut Sea Captains are largely in Fair to VG condition and uniformly mostly clean condition. A couple of the cards have very light surface abrasions or creasing. The subjects in the lot include the following: Richard Bussius, W.H.P. Hains, Christoph Leist, S Santelli, Redford W. Sargent and Wilhelm Willigerod. The colorful cards are some of the more popular subjects in the Duke lineup of 19th century Tobacco cards.
