Dannemiller's Cordova Coffee issued a group of (6) Military Diecut Figures that were inserted into their Cordova Coffee product likely towards the end of the 19th century. The cards in the set were cataloged as K159 and fell into a 'catch all' title for this group of coffee cards. The cards in this (6) card group measure 2-3/4" wide by 4-3/4" high and have a white background with a colorful, well-illustrated military figure. The figures were meant to be cut out around the outside of the figure and stood up.
This lot of (3) K159 Dannemiller's Cordova Coffee Military Diecuts include the following subjects: President William McKinley, Lieutenant Richmond P Hobson and Admiral George Dewey. The three characters in this group were well known for the Spanish American War of 1898. The cards are all in lower grade as shown.
