The N301 Mayo Cut Plug Baseball Players series is a series of (28) diecut small players or 'cards' featuring two teams of (13) players and (2) umpires. The teams are B. and N.Y. or what we assume is Boston and New York--one of the storied rivalries in all of baseball. The cards measure in size approximately 3/4" x 1-1/2" and are condition sensitive. The fronts of the cards are full color paintings with a tab at the bottom and the player position and team noted on the tab. The backs of the cards have an advertisement printed in extremely small print.
This lot is for a single N301 Mayo Cub Baseball Player die cut card of the Left Fielder for New York. There is a small crease in the neck but, absent that, the card would be in about EX condition.
