The T470-T499 Murai Tobacco sets are the Asian counterparts to the ATC and BAT sets. Just like the ATC and BAT sets, the Murai sets borrow artwork from some other American series from the 19th and 20th centuries. In addition, they also use images that both the ATC and BAT use from other sets of the same timeframe. The Murai sets were primarily issued for the Japan and China markets and are generally marked as such on the back whether it is a Murai Tokyo or Murai Shanghai set. Some sets can be found with back advertising from both Tokyo and Shanghai.
This lot of (24) Murai Tobacco cards are from a number of different sets. The cards are in Fair to EX condition with most of them being in the VG range. There are some cards from some very tough series in this lot.
