The E238 Horoscopes classification in the American Card Catalog noted cards from Gottman & Kretchmer, Bunte and Hosenbaum as advertisers. Non-sport.com also notes Indianapolis Candy is another advertiser. In addition to those 4, Voegele's Fine Chocolates issued the cards with their advertising. The (12) card horoscope sets can be found with different types of front art and were used as advertising medium for many companies in what was likely the 1920's and 1930's.
This lot is for a single E238-UNC Horoscope card advertising Voegele's Fine Chocolates. The card is the June horoscope with Pearl and Health being June ideals. The Voegele's Fine Chocolates advertising is on the front of the card at the top and on the bottom of the card at the bottom. The card is in Poor condition with multiple creases and a small piece missing from the upper left part of the card. Great card for an "E" Card type collector.
