Kinney Brothers issued a card set in the late 1880's picturing soldiers of the World and the United States in their normal costumes. The card set is the largest card set in terms of subjects known in the late 1880's and is a popular series for many collectors. The N224 set contains 622 cards from multiple series. In addition to the smaller cards inserted into the tobacco packages, there are a number of different advertising pieces that were issued to help advertise the series.
This oversized advertising piece features the same imagery as the previous lot but in a different, non die cut format. This piece measures about 5-1/2" wide by 12-1/2" tall. Great advertising piece to add to an advanced Kinney Military collection. This piece is extremely clean and in about EX condition.
