1960 Topps Jets Near Set in Original Albums

The 1960 Topps Jets set was Topps second foray into aircraft cards. The first was the 1952 Topps Wings set in the larger 1952 Topps size. This 1956 set, just four years later, was totally different than that 1952 iteration. The 1956 set was slightly larger in number at 240 cards but slightly smaller in size at 2-1/6" by 2-15/16". The set was issued in two different series of 120 cards and had companion albums that would hold one series completely.

This near complete set of (219/240) cards is missing only the following numbers: 2, 7, 8, 16, 19, 32, 33, 37, 38, 45, 52, 72, 77, 91, 92, 97, 143, 145, 152, 155 and 238. Each series is in its own album from the original owner. The cards are all in GVG to VG condition with most having the normal corner issues from being inserted into the albums. Great set from an original owner.
