The Star Player Candy set is an obscure set that little is known about. It is believed that the set was created by Dockman around 1928/1929 and the cards are very thin and came in a glassine envelope that could be seen through along with a few small balls of gum. The set most notably includes cards from baseball players but also includes cards of famous aviators like Lindbergh and others and the airplanes that they flew.

This lot is for a group of (4) cards from the Star Player Candy series. These (4) cards are of aviator's and include Commander #22 Richard E Byrd, #23 Army Flyers Hop Off, #36 Pride of Detroit airplane and #37 Old Charles Lindbergh. The Byrd and Army Flyers cards are in VG to VGEX condition but have some gum residue on them and the other two cards are in Poor condition with significant pieces of the card missing. These cards are extremely difficult to find in any condition and to find (4) at one time marks an opportunity for an advanced candy card "E" card collector to add to an advanced collection.
