The 1954 Bowman Power for Peace set is a (96) card set picturing U.S. Armed Services from all branches and the weapons and equipment from those branches--ships, planes and vehicles. The set is cataloged R701-10 in the American Card Catalog and is one of a number of nonsports sets that Bowman issued in the 1950's. The cards are full color cards with no graphics on the front and very similar to the 1953 Bowman Color baseball set. The red white and blue backs have a nice narrative about the picture on the front.
This lot contains a group of 1954 Bowman Power for peace. This near complete set (66/96) cards fall largely in the VG to VGEX range with a few better and a few worse.
