The F272-21 Wheaties Jack Armstrong Tru-Flight Plane Models set is a (14) airplane set of paper planes that were inserted into Wheaties in 1944. At the height of WWII, anything with airplanes caught the intrigue of America's school age children. Cereal makers capitalized on this and anything else they could in trying to sell more cereal to america's children. The F271-21 Wheaties Jack Armstrong Tru-Flight Plane Models were a send away premium. For one Wheaties boxtop and five cents you would receive an envelope containing two complete airplanes.

This lot is for a single F272-1 Jack Armstrong World War II Tru-Flite Model Airplane Japanese Zero with mailing envelope and the instruction sheet. All pieces in this lot are in EX condition and very clean.
