R96-3 Unknown Manufacturer 6 Card Sheet Near Known Set (15/18)

R96-3 is another variant to the lot of R96 cards from the previous lot. The R96-3 series are thin sheets of stock with (6) cowboy pictures printed on them. The sheets measure 7-3/4" wide by 6" high and are condition sensitive due to the card stock. Little is known about the distribution of the sheets or if they were inserted into a product or, more likely a point-of-sale premium for product purchase. The sheets are duotoned and apparently fall into a number of different color tones including: black & red, blue & red and green & red.

This lot is for a near set of the R96-3 premiums. The set includes (15) of the (18) sheets and comes with a variety of duotone layouts. The condition of the sheets runs between Fair to VGEX with most being around GVG. With three additions and a couple upgrades, this could a very nice collector grade complete set of R96-3.
