The V408 Cracker Jack Victoria Cross Heroes set was issued in Canada in boxes of Cracker Jacks. The set initially was issued at (72) subjects and then updated to (120) subjects. The cards picture an interesting scene from the war exploits of individuals who got the Victoria Cross medal in Canada for their bravery during war time.
This lot includes a group of (8) of the very tough V408 cards in VG to VGEX condition. The cards are from both the series of (72) and the series of (120) and include the following subjects: Series of 72 (5 cards: 20, 23, 27, 62 and 72) and Series of 120 (3 cards: 34, 44 and 53). Both series are very tough sets to complete as these cards are much tougher to obtain that the Cracker Jack Battle Planes or Sports series.
