The R28 Cartoon Adventures set is a large strip card set that is really four different sets in one. There are (48) total cards in the set. The cards are numbered from 401-448 and break down as follows: 401-408 Tailspin Tommy, 409-416 Tarzan of Apes, 417-424 Broncho Bill and 425-448 Buck Rogers. In collecting this set, most collectors find out quickly that the first three sets can be completed with little to no problems. The (24) cards from Buck Rogers are much tougher for some unknown reason to complete than are the first three. It may be that there are more Buck Rogers collectors, complicating the collecting of the entire set or that those (24) cards are tougher to find than the first (24).|
This lot of (8) R28 Cartoon Adventures "Buck Rogers" include the following numbers: 431, 437, 438(2), 443 and 448. All (6) cards in this group are in Poor condition with obvious issues but are mostly intact save for card #443 which is missing the lower right corner. Card 431 has been trimmed very tight as well.
