The R89 Gum Inc Mickey Mouse set is a 96 card set of one of the most popular comic characters of all time. Mickey Mouse's popularity exploded in the early 1930's and Gum, Inc of Philadelphia, PA sought to capitalize on that with their set. The set was issued in two different series of 48 cards with each having a companion album. More often than not, the cards found themselves glued into the albums so finding high grade cards is difficult.
This near set (85/96) cards is in Good to EX averaging VG. The missing 11 cards include: 26, 50, 52, 55, 57, 63, 66, 69, 75, 85 and 86. VERY Popular 1930's set and almost complete.
