The R830-1 Aviation set is a (40) card set likely issued in the 1930's/1940's by an unknown issuer. It is entirely possible that it was Novel Candy or another similar manufacturer of boxed candy cards. The cards picture famous aviators and famous aircraft in a very popular subject of the time period. Subjects include the Wright brothers, Eddie Rickenbacker, Jimmy Doolittle and Howard Hughes.
This lot of (15) cards has moderate duplication. The numbers included include: 1(2), 2, 5(3), 6(2), 8, 9(2), 11, 12(2) and 39. The cards range from Poor to EX with most being in the G range with some small issue.
