The 1939 Churchman's Kings of Speed set of (50) cards picture athletes known for going fast in their respective sports. Sports included are racing, horse racing, car racing, motorcycle racing and aviation among others. Many of the subjects in the set are from the UK and from Europe but the set also includes luminaries from the U.S. such as Jesse Owens and Howard Hughes. A neat set, built on a theme of speed.
Condition breakdown on this set is an even, clean EX with a couple better and a couple worse.
