The Kinney tobacco actress cards of classifications N210-N214 were used for many different issues by many different companies--sometime in different formats. They can be issued with or without framelines, numbered or unnumbered or have the names in the body of the photo or in the borders. The actresses pictured in the photos were the most famous ones of the day like Lilly Langtry, Pauline Hall, Emma Eames and the ubiquitous Lillian Russell. There are some of the sets that are prohibitively tough to complete and some that are tough to even find a type card.
This lot includes (6) cards from the N213/N214 sets. The lone N213 pictures Elise Lombard and the N214's in the group are of: Countess Annesley, Paula Edwardes, Mary Mills, Tenny Poole and Queenie Vassar. All (6) cards are in approximately EXMT and above grade for the issue.
