N228-1 Kinney Novelties THICK Large Group of (21) Cards

The N228 Kinney Novelties is one of the more interesting groups of cards issued during the "N" timeframe of the late 1880's through early 1890's. There are 6 different groupings of cards within the N228 series. The N228-1 Novelties are round, thick cards picturing beautiful ladies of the day. The cards are all head shots and can have backs colored in a number of different colors.

This lot is for (21) of the N228-1 Kinney Novelties. As is common on condition for these, a number of them have some back issues. A little over half of the cards have some level of back damage or back paper adhered or have been drawn on. This represents one of the larger groupings of the thick actress cards that I've seen, however, and presents an opportunity for the variation collector to add to a master set of back colors. All card fronts and backs have been scanned and the card fronts all display strongly and are clean.
