Pair of thin paper slicks that were likely used to create the outer packaging for Old Virginia Cheroots. These would likely have been glued to cardboard to construct the slide and shell packaging and could be samples from a sample book or lithographer for printing proof purposes. Both are very clean and measure about 3" x 6". The bottom one pictured has hatch marks on either end, likely signifying some type of proof copy.
