Allen & Ginter issued a number of advertising cabinet cards picturing all types of characters in the 1880's. The cabinet in this lot pictures a pair of women in a setting that looks to be at a theatre box possibly. The attractive woman standing has her left arm on the shoulder of the woman that is seated. The seated woman has a pair of opera glasses in her right hand. They are looking off into the ether at something--likely the play they are attending.
This cabinet is a beautiful cabinet that has been graded in the oversized case by SGC as VGEX-4. The front and back of the cabinet are very clean. Great addition to an Allen & Ginter or cabinet advertising collection.
