The 1956 Topps Davy Crockett set was issued to commemorate the TV serial starring Fess Parker as the coonskin cap wearing adventurer, Davy Crockett. The show was a five part Disney serial issued in 1954 and 1955 and was wildly popular.
This is a much better than average Davy Crockett orange-backed set of (80) cards. The set averages about EXMT or just a hair below with some NRMT copies and just a few lower graded cards. Overall, the centering is also better than normal. A great set that would be a good addition to any high class collection.
